George Cottman

George Cottman serves as Senior Director of Complex and National accounts for Comcast Business Services. In this position Mr. Cottman is responsible for sale of Comcast sevices and solutions, to companies with a national footprint or with unique technical requirements. The organization that Mr. Cottman directs, supplements the sales efforts of each Comcast division.
Prior to joining Comcast in November of 2000, Mr. Cottman was Mid-Atlantic Sales Vice President for AT&T Global Services. Mr. Cottman was responsible for managing the telecommunications requirements of AT&T’s largest multi-national clients. Throughout his AT&T career, Mr. Cottman held a number of sales and engineering positions.
At AT&T, Mr. Cottman also served as Chairman of the Philadelphia Community Involvement Council. In that capacity, Mr. Cottman was charged with developing and implementing a strategy to build bridges between the company and the local Philadelphia area community. Mr. Cottman himself served on the boards of the Philadelphia Afro-American Art Museum and the Philadelphia Technology Council, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Lucien Crump Resource Center. Mr. Cottman graduated from Susquehanna University in Seligsgrove, Pennsylvania with a B.A in History.
