John M. H. Edwards is the Founder of the TeleworkNetwork and has spent almost two decades dedicated to the teleworking movement. By reading some of his accomplishments below, it is easy to see the extent of his commitment to the field. Because of his knowledge of distributed, virtual and mobile work, he has been invited to be a member on the planning Boards of related events and conferences. He researches the trends and impact of teleworking on employers, their employees, society, and the environment. Armed with his up-to-date research, he consults both local and international corporations and governments. John has presented in the U.S. and abroad on numerous topics related to teleworking.

Served on the National and the DC Metro Telecommuting and Air Quality Act (TAQA) Steering Committees for the eCommute pilot (a nationwide federally-funded (USDOT and USEPA) initiative designed to increase telecommuting by using mobile emission pollution credits as an employer incentive);

Lead consultant for the eCommute Pilot in the DC Region - managed and co-authored its training/educational content, presented that content at briefings, seminars, round tables and focus groups, and co-authored the final report to Congress;

Chair of the Northern VA Technology Council's (NVTC) Telecommuting Task Force Committee; Member of NVTC's Green Technology & Energy Task Force and Public Policy Steering Committee;
