HR Breakout Speaker - Session #2

Elham Shirazi is the principal of e-planning, a sole proprietor woman based enterprise. Elham has 27 years of experience in developing telework and flexible scheduling programs. She has developed resource materials, conducted training workshops, worked with hundreds of employers, and evaluated the impacts of telework and flexible scheduling on employers, employees, and trip reduction. Elham is well-versed in Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements. She has worked with both public and private sector agencies and small, medium and large employer’s nation-wide. She has also helped develop regional telework resources and flexible scheduling and assistance programs throughout California, Florida, Georgia, Washington DC, Colorado, Texas, Washington, and Arizona. She has advised the White House, US Congressional leaders and many public entities in policy development for furthering interest in telework.
Prior to being a consultant, Ms. Shirazi worked at Commuter Transportation Services, Inc. (CTS), for six and a half years, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of several telecommuting programs and training sessions, and the development of a detailed guidebook for employers on implementing telecommuting programs. At CTS Ms. Shirazi managed a full time staff of 15 employees and the three departments of planning, training, and product development.
